Last night each contestant prepared a song from the great Afghan singer, Ahmad Zaher.  The show started with a song from Ahmad Zaher. After that Arash Barez, our host joined the show inviting Ahmad Zaher’s childhood friend, who was able to tell us more about Ahmad’s talent and his early days stories.

Jamshid Sakhi, the first start to come on stage started with a song from Ahmad Zaher (Mahe Man Ze Rah Rasid), he took the opportunity to wish a happy mother’s day to all women around the world.  The second star was Sohrab Elyar, he sang (Khanda Ba Labai Tu Ra) and got very positive comments from both team captains. Nawab Najmi was the third star on the stage; he also sang a song from Ahmad Zaher (Kajaki).  After this song, a fan of Ahmad Zaher was given a chance to sing a track from the artist as well. Surprisingly, he also had a photo album containing 600 pictures of the legend.

Omid Parsa was the fourth Star who came on the stage along with his “santoor” to sing (Tana ShdamTana).  Subsequently Elyas Isar came on the stage playing with his accordion and singing (BaTuRaftam) and received a strong support from both captains.

After his performance, Shafiq Sorosh performed the very famous song from Ahmad Zaher named “Agar Bahar Beyayad” and received a huge wave of applauses.

The program concluded with “Tu Baraim Muqadase” beautifully interpreted by Hesam Farzan.
